I need those 2 brass/gold terminals that bolt into the battery. The actual battery manufacturer oddly does not provide them…
Or they do but they can’t SEE them anywhere…
I’m looking on ebay and such, can’t really find them. I didn’t purchase a Braille… I purchased a Deka, which didn’t come with these ‘battery posts’
Why not simply get your hands on some brass, take some measurements, and use a Lathe?
I’m sure someone sells adapters, that isn’t the only battery with funky terminals
Shoulda bought a braille mine came with the posts. I would expect any manufacturer to supply them. Have u contacted them?
If u need to just buy some generic terminals at CT and drill the centers to be able to run a screw threw them and mount them to the battery.
I went to ct and they didn’t have the right size. I have to return the terminals tomorrow. As for “should have bought the battery from braille”, I spent half the price on the Deka, and its the EXACT same battery. There are threads all over the internet on it, do a quick google search if you wish. I would love to buy them from braille but i don’t see these posts in their accessories. I’m going to go to partsource tomorrow on dufferin and steeles, but since they are a subsiderary company of CT, I doubt they would have it, I do however need Permatex Carbon Caliper Lube.
