Help me pick wheels for my 69 Camaro

I’m getting close to the time that I need to order my rims. I have been steering towards American Racing Torq Thrust II for a long time now.

Now I’m looking for input and suggestions. If you think a different wheel might be cool, post it up.

I will be putting 17" in back and 16" in front. And for now, I have front disc and rear drum brakes. Soon to be swapping to a 4th gen Camaro rear disc.

These are the wheels:

This is what they will look like on the car:

And this is the stance I am going for

Here are a few other wheels/styles I like that I’m debating on also:

Some HRE 547s

Or the old faithful Torq Thrusts

Torque Thrusts are always a good choice…some PIMP Foose Wheels would be hott too…i like the ones on the silver Maro

they ALL look good except for the first and last

i like the HRE 547

This is the one with the HRE

However, I am liking the look of this Camaro also

No doubt at all the 547’s. I want them so bad for the Vette but $5K + is a little too much.
D

Kragar SS’s classic

I like this one…

THOSE all day long

I guess it all depends on your taste, and the look you are going for. do you want a more racey look with meaty tires in the back, or more of a show car…or a combo of both?

here are a couple of my choices…

first, I personally think a wheel size bigger than what you are planning will “look” much nicer…18s in the rear and 17s in the front…bigger wheels on these body styles just does it for me…personally. Im also a big fan of billet.

torque thrusts…always a good choice…but they are EVERYWHERE. (just look on ebay…a good 75% are torque thrusts…the other 25% are RS oem style wheels.

here is a nice 18"/17" combo…a nice deep dish in the rear always helps!

the ones on that silver car posted before FTW

ive always been a fan of a nice set of Cragars on pony cars…

The Mule may be the best Camaro ever. I haven’t seen anything else that quite compares, except maybe Big Red if you include racecars.

work xs-xx gold with polished lippppppppppppppp

:tup::tup:

PM violator for a good dish

I agree

bahahahahahahahahahahah.

Are the ones on the silver camaro, Fikse’s? If not, they are very similar.

Those look so hot, and different.

But part of me still likes the Torq Thrusts.
