***Need some more wheel ideas... ***

i’m looking along the lines of Iforged, Fikse, CCW, and HRE…

I’ve always liked Iforged Aeros, but alot of people have those, want something a little dif, unless the right deal pops up. Also like their Evolutions. Custom, and something else i forgot that look like CCW 505s. The problem i hear though, is that they have a HUGE lead time, and their CS is shitty

Fikse FM/5, profil 5 and profil 10 are nice

CCW 500 and 505 are cool, unfortunally they are both in the area, damn you bladez

HRE 847s ? are also very nice

problem is, if i do this, i need to do it NOW and get them ASAP, because otherwise i need to put rubber on my existing rims. but i refuse to get something if im not 100% sure about it

i do not want a cheap looking, or knock off rim… im looking to buy the good stuff.

guidelines:

5-spoke OR split 5-spoke (10 spoke)
~18x9.5 F, ~18x11 B
NO RIVETS
need som dat DISH…preferably not stepped, but open to stepped
have not decided on the finish yet.
dont have a rediculous amount of $$ to spend. Used rims are fine as long as they are in LIKE NEW condish

any other ideas?

READY…GO

Skip iForged and HRE. Fiske wheels always look good on Fbods same for CCW.

CCW, dont get the same ones as ken though

those were my #1 ccw…that dick

+1 on Jay’s suggestion. I would definitely go for Fikse, but I’ve always had a hard-on for them. HREs are shitty bling wheels.

HRE are shit wheels, and with the power you make + buffalo roads, you’ll likely find out why.

Fikse have always been my top 2, depending on my mood. they are very clean, yet very subtle. i’m hearing very light as well, although since when have i cared about weight? lol

buying those new is $$$$ though :nervous:

Any custom wheel you order is gonna take some time to get. I think I waited 6 weeks to get my aeros after I put in my order.

LG Motorsports World Challenge, they’re the same as the CCW 505 pretty much.

lol sorry bill :frowning:

how about the ccw sp600 (even though you want 5 spoke, they’re still pretty hot) or t10 wheels. i really like the looks of those wheels as well and i think they would look really good on your car! fiske are also a very good choice to go with as well. don’t think i’d ever go the hre or iforge route

im hearing in the area of 3+ MONTHS from some vurrent customers. i realize they take time, i didn’t doubt that.

between my not wanting to have to tire my existing rims only to get rid of them, and my EXTREME LACK OF PATIENCE with stuff i buy, and getting ANALLY RAPED in the performance market in the past, i think i’d have an aneurism (sp) if that happened to me

shockwave: not ruling those out, but im unsure… thanks for the input

Did you check out forgelines?

i really dont like the look of 6, or any even spoke rim on f-bods. thanks though

and im just busting your balls. 505s are a sweet rim, i dont think they’d look as good on my car as they do yours

haha i know <3 :stuck_out_tongue:

mine took a little over 3 weeks to come in…from phone call to being delivered! but each manufacturer will be different depending on their back log, i just got lucky with good timing, lol

hmmmm… yes i did.

checking right now to see what else they got

How about DPE?

DPE isn’t doing it for me. forgeline has some nice rims, but the rivets are a big turnoff for me. thanks for the ideas though, keep em coming

I dont know why everyone is ripping on HRE’s, they make a quality wheel. They are one of the only manufacter’s that offer hidden hardware or no rivets in a 3 piece custom wheel. They are also one of the most expensive wheels you can buy.
