Help Sr20 redtop won't start!

Here’s the deal bought this 240sx redtop in november with a blown turbo. waited until february to install t25, then got the maf in march hooked up everything and started the car, started fine but idle to high so i adjusted the idle screw on the iacv and bleeded the the air out of the coolant and went down to 800-900 rpm. so i took it for a drive 1,2,3 any gear you put it in the car won’t go pass 3,000 rpm even when you rev it’s like when you have a 2 step (rev limiter). so pulled into my house turned of the car the poped the hood started it again it ran for about a 1 minute the all of a sudden smoke comes from one of the injectors and then engine dies and won’t start again. Could it be a bad injector or fuel filter is cloged.

I would really appreciate if some could help me out or give me some advice on what to do I’m very lost :confused: and don’t know what to do thanks

Usually idle problems like that have to do with MAF but injectors smoking? Id try replacing said injector and clean up the maf a bit. Also did you correctly time the motor when you got it?

first thing check injector seal…also check compression and once the motor is hot open the oil cap to see if its smoking…guaranteed there are leaks somewhere.
