Now if I only knew how to get into BIOS on this Sony computer… anyone? Maybe I’ll just hit all the function keys until something happens and let out a little frustration, lol.
If it’s a Vaio it’s either F2 or F3.

So Rick and I messed around with it for a few hours and found that Nero is the only software that seems to see the drive and is able to burn to it.
Strange… There might be some crazy registry fix, but I don’t know enough to mess with it.
Definitely a software issue. Sony and their stupid proprietary bullshit.
Time for scorched earth policy enactment.
$27 for a Lite on 20x dvd burner from newegg. Haven’t had one problem with it
