Is he using wood blades missing half their teeth or something?
But if he’s cutting Stainless with a standard carbon steel blade I would expect less than great performance.
They make stainless blades for a reason after all
Also you let the blade cut the material, you don’t apply much downward pressure like an abrasive saw.
I know with 20" Blades sometimes I’d end hanging from the handle to keep pressure on it when cutting through a lot of material…
A quick search of the dewalt dry cut saws turns up terrible reviews, plus it costs $500, versus ~$250 for an evolution with a blade… Evolution saws get amazing reviews from everywhere.
the guys at Weldingweb.com go crazy over evolution saws in production environments as well.
I’ve had and used a HF HD 14" chop saw for 5yrs now… Its starting to show signs of wear and inaccuracy. But it use to cut pretty well. I wish that i would have sent the $ on a better one, one with a cast table/base. The stamped steel one on the HF one flexes and is now out of shape Overall not bad still works and i’ve used 3 disc’s.
