She has actually done some good for WNY, it just hasn’t hit us yet. She has pushed to make buffalo the Biotech/med capital of the world. Biotechnology is looking to be a very important super fast growing industry. like computers in the late 80s and 90s big. If buffalo can become the “silicon valley” of this new revolution, our financial woes will be gone like the steel plant.
but a lot of this depends on the ability to do stem cell research. heaven forbid we work at something that could lead to the cure of many horrible dieseses. the drug companies won’t have that!
