Yeah it felt nice…
bob, we’ve had our quarrels in the past.
but i can put all that behind me and say that i hate to see this happen to someone as determined as you.
unfortunatley, thus is the risk of our sport of choice.
keep your chin up and here’s hoping you find something new soon.
Don’t worry about me…
You wont have to worry about me giving up…
Because giving up is for pussies…
This team is just getting started…
true say Mr. Berry.
true say
GT
bermmmm thats tight
Ouch man, that impact looked hard for sure.
Sorry to see the car is done but at least your ok and that’s a good thing.
Take care and good luck with your next car/project.
Like I said… felt nice…
I would also like to state… that on impact… my helmet saved me a concussion and probably some bad whiplash… as my helmet impacted the A-pillar…
I highly suggest everyone wear a helmet when drifting on the track…
There is no excuse for not wearing one…
Bob I still can’t get the picture of you hitting the wall out of my end.
Main thing is you are ok and there are plenty of parts on that car to be used on the next one.
Begin the search for another chassis, something will pop up for sure.
With luck you might even be up and running later in summer.
Andrew.
Shit man, glad youre ok, sucks to see another 240 written off, these cars are getting more rare every year.
Good luck with your next project.
Let it burn a nice hole… people need to understand the risks are involved and how real they are…
Plenty of parts can be used… and to be perfectly honest the new chassis is even better then my old one…
Late summer? Probably not… this is a ground up build…
Think WELD style, except with a JGTC equivelant motor… with more power…
The important thing is you are okay and you walked away without injury. Sorry I can’t say the same thing about your car but if your can get your hands on a front clip and a few more other parts your back on your way. Good luck bro.
I wouldn’t be much of anything without that helmet on…
Save yourself some brain damage and pickup a nice helmet if you track your car…

You just put a huge smile on my face man. It’s nice to see a lesson learned from one’s mistakes, not to mention seeing that lesson used to educate others so that they don’t have to learn the hard way. Now THAT is a good attitude my friend. BRAVO!!!
I’m not all bad you know
sucks
but after you do this new chassis are you gona be scared to drive it after the crash? chances are high of another crash, all the work and money you put in can go so fast unless you have a sponsor.
always good to see people come out of crashes ok.
fuck, why not just fix the supsension and drive it all mangeled up, or use as a track only car.
Clearly you don’t know good old Mr. Perseverance.
What would be the point of building it if I dont drift it… parts can always be salvaged, and new and different chassis can be found…
The risk of crashes are always high, for any motorsport… This wouldn’t have nescessarily happened if we weren’t drifting an oval with concrete walls right there…
You know that I won’t be scared… I’ve hit far to much, and broken far to much, and I still go out and do it…
This is no different…
Funny you should mention that…
