HKS Metal Headgasket

I just got my block back, went from 86.5mm to 87mm pistons.
My head gasket is boxed away somewhere, so I haven’t measured it, but I have a quick question for anyone that’s familiar with these.

From what I’ve seen on the HKS site, all of their SR20 gaskets are 88mm.
Obviously this would make it fine to keep using, as long as the thickness is fine.

I know that some gaskets go ahead and use a bigger bore with a smaller piston for example having a standard 87mm gasket for stock 86mm pistons.

Anyone have any experience with the HKS gaskets, should I be fine to use it?
I think so.

I would assume its going to be ok. They test for these kind of things im sure. Then again its HKS so trusted quality. Im also interested to know.

ya the size or bore will be fine, i run a 91mm gasket with a 90mm bore. you wan the metal ring on the head gasket to sit on the cylinder sleves top edage

fine dude.

will be fine.
