What a crazy game tonight. 2nd period started and we tied it up. One of my guys took a shot and then got knocked down to the ice. As he was sliding past the goalie the puck was laying in between the goalies legs and he took a little swing at it. Nothing crazy. And he stopped to the left of the crease with his feet near the boards and face next to the net. The goalie on CVM gets up from his butterfly and tries to kick our players stick (which is laying right in front of his face) twice. All of sudden he starts swinging at another one of my teammates and starts fighting with him. Everyone grabs a partner and nothing else happens. My guy and their goalie get kicked for fighting and the refs gave them the option of playing with 6 or I told them take 10 mins and switch equipment with one of the guys on their bench. #55 says no “We are 11-0, they can have the win” and the refs call the game a forfeit and we get the win. Most of the team was a bunch of DB’s and look out for #5. He slew footed 2 of our guys and was trying to hit everyone. What a crazy night.
I’m playing at Holiday/Leisure in the summer league with some old friends from college. Are you guys talking about the same league??
yes, C3 or C4. I also Play in C1 at Holiday Leisure.
Oh snap, I just texted my buddy and he says our team is “B” league? We have a game tonight at 10:45 as a matter of fact.

So now I guess since the refs didn’t get back to Ron that the goalie and my guy are not suspended. What a bunch of BS. I am more pissed that on the score sheet the goalie got a fighting major (which is 3 game suspension) and now he can play. I gotta find a different league. Seems to me that they give certain teams special treatment and when a kid tries to kick something or someone right near their face nothing happens. The thing is ran like its a bush league. Can’t wait to win this thing.
dude the refs are the one’s making it bush leauge, they just let everything go so they can get in and out faster. it’s not a serious league so they don’t care about their supervisor hearing about it.
The biggest thing to me is that when I was at the “Captains” meeting last year Ron said that if its marked down as fighting, its fighting and a three game suspension. Bunch of bullshit.
Well i got the official word that a bunch of the current dick refs are getting the boot. Hopefully that evens things out. FYI, ill be playing for P22 this upcoming season.

Well our team won the better C4 division. I don’t understand how we don’t play the winners of the other division for a Championship game between the two divisions.

Not sure who is doing winter puck but due to my schedule I opted against paying for a full season.
