Earlier this week, the car got kinda loud, wasn’t broken, but starting. It’s my girlfriends and I was gunna check it out/fix it tomorrow, but tonight it broke.
It is the middle exhaust piece with the flange that bolts to the cat, with a resonator shortly after, then a couple bends and another flange that bolts to the short pipe that slides into the muffler.
Best price I found was $136 at both pep boys and auto zone, napa was closed and advance couldn’t get it. I am going to try car quest tomorrow as they have always been the cheapest for exhaust pipes for me and it’s usually been on hondas. For $136 I’m getting a lifetime warranty, so that is going into consideration.
Has anyone had any better luck price wise with this piece, and where should I look. I know it could be fabbed up, so I guess if someone wanted to do it for less than $136 I would consider it, but I don’t want to half ass this on my girlfriends car, not looking for a cheapo fix, it needs a new pipe all together, just wandering if there are any better options.
