Of the total, a combined 78,409 vehicles were exported abroad, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Thailand and European countries, Kimoto said.

The vehicle’s engine can suddenly stop because some of its parts can be damaged by heat if used repeatedly over time. There were five cases of drivers getting minor burns after the solder used in the defective parts melted and fell onto their feet, Kimoto said.

The fact they are even recalling 10+ year old vehicles is pretty astounding. Considering there is only been 5 reports of minor injuries.

True indeed.

The words Honda and Recall are a rarity in the same sentence.

Yeah, but if that hot solder, was to ever fall on someones feet, while driving…

car accidents like whoa.

Much like ford recalled the ignition, and multifunction switch that would melt wires and drip hot plastic in the early 90s. Oh wait, they didn’t.

:bsflag: Honda is perfect.

:wstupid:

Honda flaw?
That’s unpossible.

those are SUVs and vans, dosen’t count…

at least they deal with their problems unlike some other companies.
