We were staying at a nice place in Corola NC which is just North of Nags Head if you know the Outer Banks at all and I came across this little off road path. There were a bunch of them, but this one went to an area where wild horses roamed freely. It was the last day we stayed there and a storm was coming so the water was a little high and waves were coming up over the path onto the truck. I had a blast there. Here are a couple pictures.
Nice pics… im surprised it got out of all that water.
Awsome pics!
Nice pics, looks like it was fun.
Kind of miss my Colorado sometimes… almost
looks like fun, nice pic there
It’s a chevy of course it did
Looks like fun.
 Looks like an awesome time. Congrats again, buddy.
Sand and saltwater all over a new truck lol
Cool pics, Renzo
nice job ! i like the black bow tie, i did that on my truck last week… be careful on that sand, i was in daytona and we had to launch our jet skis close to the water on the beach and my truck say for about 30 seconds and started to sink fast
Is that salt all over the beach?
You will never get all of the sand out of the inside of your truck.
SO let me get this straight, your idea of a good time on your honeymoon is to go 4x4’ing?
looks like fun, my wife and I looked at the pic’s and thought of are honeymoon.
If your a car enthusiast and marry right you/mate should enjoy cars.
Pic from my honey moon:
Well it was actually a limited access road that lead to a preserve with wild free range horses on it. Plus my wife doesn’t mind my auto antics. She would rather go 4x4ing/quading then go to the mall and go shopping. She thinks ricers are gay, and muscles cars are sweet. She is pretty damn awesome. She doesn’t even mind doing burn outs.
I actually think I got most of the sand out of the truck already. I washed it two times to make sure to get the sand/salt off it. Yes it is a new truck, but that sure as hell isn’t going to stop me from having fun in it! I’m really happy with the truck. 3.7L gets about 21 mpg normally with more then enough power, I love the styling and grey color, 4x4 works great, plus with a little 2 inch lift I can put on 33’s if I wanted to. Plus for what I paid for the thing I couldn’t touch anything else except maybe a dodge. :barf:
3.73 front/rear with rear locker gets the truck out just fine. Oh and my wife daily drives the truck I daily my M3.
Most of the honeymoon was spent going to the 3 lighthouses, the lost colony, a restored Elizabethan garden, walking dunes, eating fresh seafood and relaxing.
Not even close…but good try I guess.
Josh, that looks awesome, glad you guys had fun.
To Cavi Mike: Josh is SOOOO much smarter than you and will always have SOOOO much more money than you it isn’t even funny.
I took the subie through a stone/dirt parking lot today and it drifts like a champ, I was worried with the 1.8 and being an L that it wouldn’t have any rear sliding antics in it. I made an enourmous dust cloud.
Dang I might have to come home for some snowy cyclones.
