hot water heater

Anyone know why the gas vent blower motor won’t shut off?

call spangler

first question do you have hot water in the house???

if not pilot light could be out

bad ignightor and its reading constant cold water and blowing like the pilot is lighted

hard to say if its not in front of me…but it def shouldnt be continously blowing

Pilot is lit. Still have hot water but could just be what’s left in the tank. I haven’t seen the burner light yet. When I turn the power switch off to it then turn it back on it seems like it wants to light but doesn’t.

I’ll see if the burner lights when my daughter takes a shower (which should just about empty the freakin’ tank!) (insert old man grumble about using too much water)

why do they call it a hot water heater?

You do not need to heat hot water.

Okay, it’s a hot water generator.

Turned it back on after being off for a while and yes, the burner ignites. I think the blower should turn off the same time as the burner? Maybe the wiring diagram will make sense.

new theromstat ftw
