How a corvette gets built. With pics & vids.

Some light reading while you drink your coffee this morning:

Been to the factory, its pretty cool to see them built then started and driven away.

:bsflag:

Hand of God building the engine not found.

No no no. You’re thinking of the VW 1.8T.

Jesus builds LSx’s.

:word: that was one of the cooler tours ive ever been on. The plant made my dad, who worked at dunlop for 30 years, insanely jealous.

Is he still at dunlop?

I worked there doing IT stuff for 8 years.

nah, retired on disability in the late '90’s. He was in dept 202 for the last several years

I’ve always wanted to go on that tour.

I will be driving the ZR off the line as I WILL get the plant tour and museum delivery on this one.

are they even building the ZR in bowling green?

thought they were doing it somewhere else.

i thought the frame was being done at a different location

So … does that mean the devil builds VQs and RBs?

:snky:

lol naw. Those are enlightened motors built by the Buddha.

The devil builds Yamaha R6 motors. Hence the demonic wail when you wind one way past 15k rpm.
