How can I find out if someone was arrested?

I called the police station, but they told me that they can’t tell me if this person was in custody.

So how the hell do I find out if a certain person was just arrested if the cops can’t/won’t tell me?

Try calling a news channel. They will call police stations and ask if anything “interesting” happens. Maybe someone can help you there.

My moms boyfriend gets arrested all the time and she just calls the holding center downtown and they tell her. Try this (716) 858-7636

I called niagara falls city court to see if my neices pos father was arrested based of a anonymous tip of an out standing warrent. They told me everything including how much his bail was.

arrests are public record. That is why prospective employers can check that in a background check.

Really, and I thought all they checked for were felony convictions.

As in: “Have you ever been convicted of a felony?”

Yea, fucking tell me about it. He’s been in jail like 6 times in the past year. His longest stint is the current one which is going on like 4 months. Its a fucking bummer I wish they’d give his ass life but I can only wish that, It’s all drug shit (selling, probably using for all I know). She’s scared of him so she won’t report shyt. Long story that pisses me off so I’ll stop there…lol

They won’t tell you if they still have some pending investigation or are still trying to get information about whatever the reason is or other circumstances. That’s just a hunch though.
