How do u get to those hillclimbs by technology drive?

If you are driving down 119 by technology drive you can see all those steep hill climbs right off of the highway and they look pretty decent but it looks like there is a fence the whole way around, even if you get off on tech. drive it looks like the fence is still there.

Can you get to those if u ride down tracks? I’m curious if anyone here knows how to get in there. OR any other trails around mt pleasant.

jump the fence sissy.

Get off the Technology Drive exit. Turn right at red light…go about 200 yards and park your trucks on the right…much better riding behind Sony though…

lol yeah i never thought of that, i can jump the fence, then ill be able to do the hill climbs on foot!!

I seen a little spot where there is like a pull off thats kinda gravel and up a little hill. I didnt know if it was legit to park there and go to them.

I dont know about any of the riding behind the sony plant. Whats back there? Whats the best way to get there, like where to park etc? I have heard of trails around there but im not from M.P. i just want to check em out.

park buy the white tracker!i dont think u can ride behind sony anymore with the new road!

There’s not much left behind Sony…but you can still ride over to the slate dumps by Charlie Brothers.

To drive to the dumps, go past Cracker Barrel in New Stanton (going away from the Post Office)…Make a left at the stop sign. Go about two miles after passing under a black railroad bridge (The bridge you’ll be riding your quad accross from Sony) make the first right, cross the tracks bear right on gravel road, go about a half a mile slate dumps, lots of trail riding, and a few powerline hill climbs. Several hours of decent riding there…if you’re adventerous you can make it to Westinghouse Walt’s Mill from there…a couple of creek crossings though.

Pewter, yeah i seen the white tracker there!! I was kinda guessing you park there but i didnt know for sure and i wanted some confirmation. Thanks

General, thanks for the suggestion i will definately be checking out both spots. For a while i have been wondering how to get to those climbs, and some trails around MP but i never thought to ask here.

where do u live?

actually i live in derry twnshp but my gf lives in MP and i am there alot. I also hear about riding by sony (i guess what used to be) and i seen those climbs on 119 and i am dying to check them out.

I dont know how my old warrior will do againts them i havent checked them out up close yet. I know i need new tires though before i truck it up there but i havent decided what kind yet.

whos ur g/f?

jump the fence on your bike.

:slap:

if you are talking about for your warrior…20x11x9 holeshots. you can’t go wrong

relters>holescarps

I cant decide on tires yet. Right now i bought the quad it has itp blackwaters (worn) they are 20x12x8’s. I like the width of the tires cuz it gives and extra 2 inches of width.(on top of the 4" its already widened)

But, no competition tires are 12" wide so im looking at razr IIs and Holeshots.

I do most of my riding in grassy fields, and fairly dry, rocky trails. Holeshots looks sick, i dont know if i should go with a holeshot style tire or a mudder style tire.

whats a relter?? Any pic or link?

i am thinking either a holeshot style tire in 20 11 9 or these in a 21 12 9

what is better for hill climbs and rocky shit. I know those tires claim they are good for rocks but how are the competition tires like holeshots on trails, i dont race the quad?

when I had my warrior I had 20x11x9 holeshots. make sure you get the 8ply so no jaggers get into the sidewalls. I did hillclimbs, trails, gncc style trails, MX, SX, whatever I wanted and I never once had a problem with traction or controlablity on any terrain.

slimmy mud on top of hardpack was the toughest time I had one them but they still did well

he means the realtor. i would go with the maxxis razor or the holeshot xc

go with realtors .i telling u best tire!
