exactly as thread states. Just curious on time needed to take off fuel rail then replace with a new one. Thanks.
Uhm it depends on the type of car… this is a pretty broad question
yep…
i could rip one on/off my tiburon in 5 minutes…
on my m5 it could take me an entire day…
I could do it in 2 seconds if you’re just talking about replacing one sitting on a shelf with another.
haha.
stab in the dark but a 95 civic 1.5?
If it’s a 95 civic it should take literally 20 minutes. Super easy.
If you need a new one pm draftinwitjr he has a known good fuel rail with recently cleaned/reman’d injectors off of my blown d15
:picard:
im an idiot and posting this quick but its a 99 lasabre with the stock engine. sorry dudes.
What motor? a 3.8 should be a few hours. Why do u need to remove the fuel rail?
should have been done a long time ago. the creepy thing is that i was going to bring it in the day j+l auto burnt down. that would have been money in the bank! it is the 3.8L…
Why “should this have been done a long time ago”?
on that motor off the top of my head isnt it under the plenum? are there two?
and yes why a long time ago
yes i believe u are correct it is under the upper plenum . i think it is two rails but they come out as one.
oh and to the op as long as u remember where everything goes that u disconnect it should only take a couple hrs max.
His thread is super tarded
