one car?
Many of have owned high mileage cars/trucks, but what is the most mile you personally put on one car?
My most to date is 50,000 on my 1996 v6 mustang over 3 years before I sold it, I had it from 104,000-154,000 miles. I’m up to 37,000 on my 1998 Explorer that I’ve had 2 years as of this past oct. and I’m sure by the end of winter I’ll be close to matching/beating what I put on my first mustang.
im closing in on 50k in 2 months less than 3 years.
84,538 in 2 years and 5 months. 2008 VW Rabbit.
~105,000 in 3 years. 2000 VW Beetle. Yup.
My first car was a Toyota Tercel that had about 50k when it was handed down to me from my mom and 130k when I sold it so that’s the current record for me with 80k.
My Expedition comes in 2nd. Had 30k when I bought it and it just passed 90k. I have my doubts we’ll have it long enough for it to get over 110k and take the record.
00 grand am, 143,000 - 62,000 = 81,000
had a 2002 gmc pick up…got it with 50,000 sold it still running strong with 160,xxx…so about 110,000 in five years

~50k on my truck in the past 20 months
~20k on the M5 in the first month of ownership (and then ~25k over the following 18 months)
Those were the last two “big” amounts.
twenty year old caviler, got it with 39k its got 57k now over 15 months
My first car I put the most on; '84 Thunderbird; bought it with about 105k, sold it at like 230k; so in just under 4 years I put 125k on.
I put a lot of miles on my vehicles; I already put on 17k onto my '04 jeep that I’ve owned less than a year.
Geez, I can’t remember how many I put on my first car, but it was less than 15k over the four years I owned it. Current best was my Civic that I put 20k on in a little over a year before I sold it 2 months ago. Never really had to drive much until I got out of college. High school was 6 miles round trip. Part-time jobs was 2 miles round trip lol. Lived on campus at school so didn’t use a car much there either.
Mustang is ~80K @ 14 years ownership.
SHO is ~75K @ 4 years…closing in on 250K now!
I’ve put about 55K on my black MR2…most other cars I keep only for a year or so…
My F-bod that I had from my 16th birthday in 2001, I registered with 66666 miles on it and sold in 2006 when it hit 100k. I have just about that amount on my truck that I leased new and I’ve had for 3 years.
something like 80k in my maxima… I owned my evo for almost as long and couldn’t even hit 30k.
my focus has 32K on it in 5 years of ownership. She will turn 6 years old in Feb.

Most on one car (work van) is about 85K, but I just did the math and on everything I have driven and I am shocked that I have about 270K under my belt already.
