i was just wondering how much it would b to get a new engine into this car??

well if you are looking for a stock KA then they can be found for $600-800 and that is if you do the work yourself…

By “new” you mean used but new to you right?

if so, yea probably about that ^ like said above, It will probably cost you like $1500 or so with labour depending on the shop. But i dunno, I never dealt with a KA…

ew don’t replace a ka24 with an sr20de. And they won’t “build you a new one”, but they can rebuild your old one, but that won’t be cheap either. Why whats wrong with your old one?

SR20DE is a wicked motor. Cheap, Reliable, and awesome on gas. For the price of doing a KA to KA swap, you’ll get all these advantages plus a mild power upgrade.

Throw in some cams and a bit of tuning and that’s making the same power as a stock SR20DET.

nissan still does sell NEW motors

but for the price of a stock sr20 from nissan.

you can fully build your sr and have tons of bolt ons with ems
