It’s funny how hacking techniques have got more sophisticated but if you look at all the stuff anonymous/lulsec did and all the shit that got owned this year it was all simple things that could have been easily stopped.

That’s what I’m trying to say. Most of this isn’t brute force hacking lately, it’s just out smarting dumb users. Like the guy who guessed Palin’s email password…

I swear, every hack today is either based on a social engineering attack or SQL injection.

Brute forcing is just no more as any intelligent admin has rate limiting on their logins.
