I think it’s been like that for ages.
I work in IT. We have our own in-house programmers. People are f’in geniuses at the keyboard…but complete morons in most other things. You’d think working in IT you’d be smart enough to do ‘basic’ troubleshooting when you encounter a PC issue (for example). You know…check cables…restart…etc. Nope. Chuck Testa.
Book smart does not translate very well to street smart. I’m not talking about Nick because I don’t know him…but just making a general observation.
