I get that you take the pic from 2 angles but then what?
You put them next to eachother, cross your eyes and the image goes ‘3D.’
It’s called a stereogram.
Remember those strange, hippy-magnet things that hung the the windows of specialty stores at the mall? Kinda the same thing.
And the USGS uses these things all the time with arial photographs, except they use special “glasses” so you don’t have to screw with your eyes to see the image.
