anyone ever heard of doing this type of thing. I’ve seen it once and its solid. My car is black and I want to put the sylvia type look on my rear lights. My guess is to spray paint over two circle stickers and then peel off when done giving the round look to the rear 89-94 type rear lights. If anyone has done this I’d appreciate some tips. I have an extra set of rear lights so I want to attempt this. Hopefully it will be a success…with your guys’ help.

I think he means kouki style tails.
if you wan that look on the el-cheapo end of things that’s not totally permanent. I have seen vinyl stickers for sale at a reasonable price on ebay. I wouldn’t do it just my .02
However, I have decided to paint/replace my amber turn signal on my tails with a black piece, and re wire the signal to one of the remaining 2 red bulbs (outside one obviously)
you’d be surprised as to how much it looks like s14 tails when done correctly. definatly give the 240sx tails a little something differnt.
but if you’re truely 100% into that, then find somone with kouki tails, measure the diametre of the little sticky out circle section and mask off that area on you tails, sprey and enjoy

but as for putting circles in yours I have never seen someone do that to the point where it looks good. I have seen a few pics and it looks like u just end up destroying your good looking stock lights…
It would be better for you to do what that guy did in that thread…
