How to turn off stability control in 2010 Outback

I just picked up my new Subaru Outback a few weeks ago and immediately went to find a snowy parking lot to do some AWD Doriftos in. I clicked off the traction control and went to town with it… unfortunately I couldn’t get the car to do anything since the f’n stability control kept kicking in.

There isn’t a button for it on the dash and I couldn’t find anything online about it… but I’d like to turn this off for the few times I hit up some parking lots in the winter.

alot of newer cars it can be turned off then when the car feels like to breaking to far loose it goes right back on. sorry for the bad news

Govt is ruining your fun.

did you get rid of your civic?

Fuck!!! That really ruins my fun. I was really looking forward to Subaru+Snow=Awesomeness, now it’s just lame. I wonder if there is a fuse I can pull?

That’s one car I’ve never owned, you must have me confused with someone else. I’ve owned 2 DSM’s, 93 Corolla, 02 neon, 06 Equinox, 08 Escape and the 10 Outback.

Yes i got you confused with TSiTalon lol, my bad

lol, I thought that might be the guy you’re thinking of, because I sometimes confuse myself when I see his name.

try holding the button down for 5-10 seconds.

If it uses the ABS system to apply the brakes, pull that fuse?

"It was interesting that despite the nondefeatable stability control system, the Outback spun 90 degrees after passing the timers when I lifted off the throttle. "

Subaru Fail!
