How to upload digital video?

OK I have a digital video camera, Panasonic Pv-GS12.

I took a 5 minute video, on the tape not on a card. Need to upload it and e-mail it so it can get hosted

uploaded it on my roommates computer (mac) using final cut pro (he doesn’t really know how to use it yet). He saved it to a folder, and it compressed it.

now it looks like shit unless you shrink the window to be tiny, but then you can’t tell whats going on anyway

is there a way to do this without making the video look like shit?

does your camera have a firewire port? If so, upload it onto someone’s computer that has a firewire card, and the quality will be really nice. Not sure why it would shrink it though, sounds like some stupid mac thing.

Take the uncompressed good looking version, burn it to a CD, and drop it off at my house. I’ll take care of the rest.
