I’ve striked up some interest into going to school to become a massage therapist. Actually I’ve always wanted to do it as a side job but I’m curious before I take the plunge into this career what a general opinion of a predominantly male board would be.
We all, even myself, wouldn’t want a George Costanza experience but the strength of a male massage, especially for deep tissue sessions, can be exceptional for relieving stress and helping the body relax.
If I was in pain or stressed out and needed a massage then I would definately perfer a female. But who cares, when we go to the doctor and get physicals we don’t get a choice of female doctors to come touch our nuts. So OP if you wanna do it go for it, Not every one thinks like george costanza.
Speaking of George Costanzas massage, it has to be one of the best
seinfeld episodes ever. LOLOLOLOL
I had gotten a massage from a dude before, (professional, jerks) and I couldn’t relax the whole time because I thought he was going to do terrible things to me. I’m a paranoid psycho, and was in Florida on vacation. I was in the spa at the hotel, but still. You never know. So I will never get a massage from a guy again because I’m scared of being violated. Ha.
I’ll also admit to having had a massage from a dude before. Its just a massage, I was probably almost asleep most of the time anyway. Only wierd time was one dude had really hairy arms, and that was a bit wierd. Overall, I don’t really know that there is much of a difference between male and femal massusesueseseseses.
I guess if you’re a closet pickle smoocher it might be a scary proposition.
But like Dawn, if you can’t relax, it isn’t exactly going to work…
in a professional atmosphere i would have no problems.
like someone else said, it’s just like a doctor. It’s definitely not worse than when you get older and find yourself lost in the depths of your mind as your doctor is ring deep in your anus checking the health of your prostate…just sayin.
