yea i have just been reading about all that. the maloo looks alot like the g8 but with some better styling imo.

GM International markets and the like…Holden is Pontiac in North America with the G8 and Monaro 
The Holden Maloo should pretty much share the same suspension or chassis as the Pontiac G8/Monaro
fords got one too
GM were gonna bring in the Ute, badged as a Pontiac… i think they were gonna call it a G8 ST
but they nixed it.
it’s too niche of a vehicle… in the current market it would flop bigtime

ITs pretty sad GM axed the car, I heard it was SO CLOSE to making it here. It would have been a good mixup in the truck market. I think they would have sold better than anyone thought.

Turbo escorts, mondeo, scorpio, merkur xr, a variety of holdens, the list goes on… and alot of cars we get but are bastardized…

i read this car was still a go in the US, for this summer, but that was a couple months ago.
the aussies have som pretty sick cars over there. I love watching the Australian V8 series, mostly Monaros and Falcons but the tracks are so sick down there.
