HYUNDAI ASSURANCE !!!! tup

http://hyundaiassurance.walkawayusa.com/

Just finished up our meeting on this and all I can say is WOW GO HYUNDAI!

If you buy a NEW Hyundai now on top of the Best Warranty available you also get Hyundai Asurance. Were if you were to lose your income after purchasing a new Hyundai you can return the car at no cost to you or your credit!!

Here are some key points!

  • Must be on the job for atleast 90 days
  • Must provide disability/unemployment/death certificate papers
  • Covered if you must move over seas for employment
  • Hyundai will cover up to $7500 in negative equity
  • Available to everyone regardless of age, health, employment history
  • YOU CAN FINANCE THROUGH ANYBODY!!!

So I can roll $7,500 of negative equity from my old car into this one or just they will cover you if the Hyundai is upside down?

For the spelling police:
*at least, employment, equity, regardless

Interesting way to combat low consumer confidence.

Gotta give them the  for coming up with something new, unlike the big three that just keep pitching employee pricing, employee pricing plus and employee pricing plus plus triple A advantage supersized etc etc.

Not really since you will be upside down on the Hyundai then since you probably didnt put anything down, buts if you are upside down because of a trade-in your still covered!

And thanks for the spell check lol, it seriously took me about 10 min to type that up since my keyboard gets about 3 out of 5 hits

sounds like it… but this is hyundai, so they’ll probably be a catch. just like the catch with “10 year warranty” which they don’t mention only applies to the original owner and is not transferable.

Um actually the 10yr/100k it is transferable to any family member or member of the household…However how is that any different than any other manufactorer? Is Dodge’s Lifetime transferable…NOPE… any body else with a decent warranty worth mentioning?

And yes you can pick this apart but REGARDLESS over all its a very personal step for Hyundai and a great idea/incentive

It is this type of thinking that has turned hyundai around.

Well the 5/100k GM powertrain is transferable

So Cadillac, Buick, Hummer have a 4/50k bumper to bumper and 5/100k powertrain which is transferable.

I didnt know buick was transferable. That makes their not so pretty cars look more desirable.

That’s great, but most people who buy a brand new car plan to keep at at least 5 years, so warranty transfer isn’t that big a deal.

And way to go GM with 5 years, 100k miles. I guess GM expects people to drive 20k miles a year. No, the truth is they put 100k up there because it looks impressive, knowing damn well the majority of people would run out of warranty long before 100k because of the 5 year part.

Truth… STEP IT UP GM

Hyundai introduced the Assurance program because of their 10yr/100k 10year anniversary!

TEN YEARS!!! Gm is half way there and they are 8yrs late

Oh yea and with Hyundai you also get…

5yrs/UNLIMITED milage Roadside assistance
7yrs/UNLIMITED milage against corrosion

Hmm…when’s the Genesis Coupe coming out?

Spring… april/may

Will that be included as part of this?

depends how long they continue this program, i would expect it to get the axe if the economy jumps back up… Just like Dodge’s gas for a year $2.99/gallon lol

If not then yes… They boldly state ALL NEW HYUNDAI MODELS!

transfering is huge…
every lease car still has a warranty for GM after 2 or 3 year lease
So when you say everyone who buys a new car, you are not looking at the whole picture.

And you think people only drive 10k miles a year?
Nope

I will burn through 100k that in 6 years or less.
So way to step it up with 10 years, I guess they only put 10 years on there because it looks good.
And yes I know some people will only use 10k a year, but other people will use 20k so both arguments have no merit.

The average is 12k a year. So in 60k miles your 100k mile warranty is void.

Regardless, enough GM leg humping in a Hyundai sales incentive thread.

Regardless even though the 10/100k isn’t transferable through Hyundai the 5yr/60k bumper to bumper is

honda has 7yr/100k miles transfers with the car

There was like 7% take rate for the $2.99 gas deal, almost everyone took the rebate not the gas card.
I will see if I can find the article.
