Buy your gas and electric from ECNY, and keep the heat at 60 degrees all winter.
Thats what I did in my college years when I made like 9 bucks an hour.

its electric baseboard heating. I guess last winter the electric bill was around 300 a month and they kept it very cold.
We dont do laundry that much so the gains would be next to nothing. I guess the plan is to keep the house as cold as possible and only have heat in the bedrooms.
