does that mean the -'s are in increments of 5?

this isnt rocket science, just set it and forget it. If it gets too hott, turn it down. obvious it works the opposite way aswell.

put it just to the left side of 70 and ur all good. I hate to admit it but JK is right. If it gets too warm (or cold) move it over some.

well common sense tells me that the middle of 60 and 70 would be 65… so the range … of 60 to 70 = 10, half of 10 would be 5.
