i was on kijiji and found this…dont know how safe or how this would handle…i think im gonna take it for a test drive just for the curiosity…maybe with slapping on a turbo it would be decent.
lol, love the paint…
Not a big fan of those cars, that paint is a little to much
Did you see the rear suspension setup? WTF? Oh wait…its a tuner transformation car haha no wonder.
hmmm i live in Bolton and i’ve never seen this thing before…paint is ugly as shit.
and why would they put a 22RE in there instead of, say, a 4AG?
Same reason it has a solid rear axle and that retarded suspension setup.
jack mac and tuner transformation special right here boys
the guys on the show must have been thinkin what kind of 'yota motor can we use for this RWD setup…“hey i got it! how bout one from a pick up!” lol these guys obviously know nothing of AE86 and 4AG
Someone jump on this, siqqqqq -_-
Haha at the rear end.
Is tehre even an ownership for this car? I bet its unfit and needs a body integrity safety inspection.
ya theres no fucking way you could get that certed, with out a body integrity safety inspection wtf crack were they smoking when they built this
I agree with this guy, never seen it before…thankfully.
poor rear end…thats a joke
LOL LOL LOL
well boys and girls this car is one big flippin joke ! ! ! ! !
I have a friend who is all in love with paseo’s for some odd reason and he wanted this car bad!
So he calls me me up and another buddy that has been around custom cars for 10-15 years.
We drive from Port Dover area out to see it, and what do we find out…
The BODY yes is in great shape with next to no rust, wait that was the only thing good about the car!!!
The rear frame rails rotted out, oh and laying on the ground after we were done looking at it to see how bad they were.
The rear end is about 1-2 inches to far forward and about 2 inches for far to the drivers side so it will be all over the place.
The underbody has a whole bunch of 1 inch tubing and 1 inch straight stock somewhat welded to the unibody and floor for strength I guess???
(think if i tugged on it that it might fall off)
The engine is so far forward that a rad is not and cannot be installed without cutting of lots of stuff.
The driveline is not straight, as in it angles from the drivers side to the passenger side. (front to back)
The interior is torn apart and half the shit is wrecked inside.
I don’t know about any of you but this thing is ransid.
We arranged a meeting time with the guy and waited, then we drove back into town sat and had supper,
we got fed up of waiting and called him back after already waiting an hour or more to have him say
I will be another 30 minutes to an hour, that is when we said fuk it and left and drove home.
2-3 hours later he finally called back and said where are you? I am here and no one is here.
We told him everything that we noticed wrong, without even hearing it run (which he said hadn’t be running since the show ? ? ?)
or taking it for a spin in the parking lot and offered him 500 cash tops and him saying no, this car was on tv and is worth way more than what he is asking already.
Now i know i ranted but this car should be stripped and burnt, this car will never pass anything at all.
It would not even pass a proper tech inspection at a track if one was performed.
Good luck and hope no one else will waste there time looking at it !!!
someone make a derby car outta this thing!! that’s about the only thing left to do with this monstrosity. if the rear end doesn’t fall off, at least you’ll know the motor won’t quit!
actually, bolton fall fair is coming up…idea starts forming
DRIFTOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
apparently someone left a deposit…poor sucker
derby car? man… that thing wont even last a 1 min in the ring…
should give it to ken block or travis to jump it into a water or someshit… this rwd conversion is a epic fail. epic fail
This thing should be donated to mythbusters so they can bolw it up or radio contol off of a bridge.
poor sucker is right… this thing doesn’t run unless he worked on it, and no rad no nothing so needs lots of money and what not also
