use trailer fender 30 bucks farm store
too wide, remember this thing has a bike tire on it (fat chopper bike tire…but a bike tire…at least for now i’m looking at some big 'uns at tractor supply tho)
Take a piece out of the center if you have too. Not too difficult. Just a suggestion. How wide do you need. Stock sportster fron fender could work. they are narrow.
the more i think about it the more i wanna put some big ol fattie on the back, i’m gonna go look at tractor supply now (specially if we’re using something bigger than an 80cc for it) ahaha
pm sailor…it’s his bike
shouldnt you be building something else???
thats what i was thinking!
werd. this thread is :greddy2:
then why’d you read it
i wish I didnt.
then don’t
well ok then.
the front wheel is not nearly going to be that big that’s the only tire i had layin around we could use to keep the forks straight
so far i’ve spent 40 bux and that was the rear tire and a couple pieces of metal.
ACMP…armstrong county mopeds
it’s gonna end up being too fast to ride i’m guessing, and we’re already contemplating cutting the front forks back a hair
hahaha
man the fork looks like its gonna break around the welding points or bend as soon as you put any kind of load on it. you might want to fab up something to triangulate that area. you should look into some downhill mountain bike parts to use on that moped.

you might want to get something like this for the front to slow you down.
you’ll also need a disk brake hub laced into the rim of you choice.
yeah we know, it’s not done yet…but there’s almost no weight on that part anyway and that tubing is thick as hell
not for that price i’ll go with my custom hacked setup off an old dirtbike for 25 bux
