Looks like a FSM to me. You can find them all right here. Good stuff!

FAST isn’t a manual at all… it’s just a parts directory

hey where can i get that parts directory thingamajig  That’s neat

from myself or your next best bet, emule or newsgroups(?).

pm me if you’re interested. i hosted it for a bunch of people here a while back.

Technically yes… FAST is a Parts Directory

BUT, theoretically it CAN be used as a Manual because it pretty much still shows how the Part is put together or taken a part and where each piece goes and then on top of that, you also get the Part #

Little Example… Here is the Timing Chain / Cam & Valve Setup for the SR20, It still gives you a pretty straight forward picture which shows exactly how you put everything together. All it is missing is smaller stuff “like torch specs or tools required to remove a part” which would be found in the FSM then

Search Online for it…

If you ask kind enough perhaps Big_Byrd will hook you up as he did me  He only has the Program itself (mostly) but it does have a few files… I myself spent a few hours one day searching online and I was able to find the rests of the Disks so that I had all the models…

There is A1, A2, A3, B1, B2 and then E1 and E2 but in total between the Program + All the Disks its like 3gigs (so pretty big)

yeah torque specs… such small stuff.

Give me a break… do you even own a torch wrench ?

I’d say, or sorry guess that MAYBE 10% of this community own’s a torch wrench and that MAYBE 5% of them actually use it…

I know myself, I own one and only use it for specific shit… like to torch down my wheels, or to torch down the flywheel or say the head if I had to remove it…

But I highly doubt 75% of this community even use a Torch Wrench PERIOD! therefor the Torch Spec’s from the FSM would be considered “a small thing” or even useless to those whom dont own a Torch Wrench

I have a torch wrench, it is called me own arms

No I don’t own a “torch” wrench.

My post was simply a reply to your statement about FAST being “more detailed” than the FSM. FAST is nothing like an FSM. It’s a parts directory with diagrams…

FAST is not meant to be used as reference for any kind of specs or procedures. As a resource for part locations and numbers, though, it’s invaluable. That’s all I meant.
