I wish I could find the article I think it was on jalopnik this guy bought his dream car a Lamborghini diablo. He crashed it in the rain because he didn’t want to put new tires on the rear or something stupid and then had to repair everything, and he talks about the maintenance and said to go after market for brakes and what not. He made it seem not that bad to maintain as long as you prepare for it.

It doesn’t have to be a lambo, pretend its a car similar that people like lol seems like everyone’s hates lambos.
Yeah then maybe they should buy a classic muscle car
Investing in cars, solid way to build financial stability.
I wish my wife would buy into this investment strategy. “Babe, I’m going to stop putting money into savings and buy a Lamborghini. It’s rare, so that’s basically just money in the bank.”
If someone who makes $100,000 a year thinks it’s a good idea to buy a car and have a $1,500/month car payment on a used exotic car, they don’t have enough self control to save up $20,000.
$1,400 after your car payment and mortgage is paid, isn’t shit. That’s $300/week. That’s having a nice house, a nice car and living your life as if you made minimum wage. Sounds horrible.
^ + a billion to this. Just added up where my wife and I are after mortgage and car payments and fucking lol’d at thinking 1400/month was a good number “left” to live on. Hope you really love that lambo because you’re going to be doing nothing but looking at it while you eat Ramen noodles from the BJ’s bulk pack every night.
Don’t get me wrong, I am too. Paying down student loan debt in an expedited fashion and all that certainly makes it feel pretty uhh… ‘normal’ I guess. I won’t be Lambo shopping anytime soon.
i make 38k a yr do people read? I won’t be buying a lambo probably ever. It’s funny I’ve never had so many quote alerts ever before.
After my bills are paid I probably have $1,300 left each month and I only put 3% of my pay into my 401k, man I guess I’m never gonna make it and should just kill myself now
