I Got Paid to Drive Exotic Cars

So people who make 100k a year should put away 1k a month for the rest of their life’s, I get it now.

Apparently investing in an exotic car that probably won’t depreciate and most likely will become more valueble over time is a terrible idea.

Exactly, I’m not saying its the best idea and that everyone should do it. And everyone has their own lifestyle choices.

Realistically whatever Lambo you’re looking at isn’t gaining value so its not an investment.

If anything you’re buying something with a lower rate of deprecation.

I wish I could find the article I think it was on jalopnik this guy bought his dream car a Lamborghini diablo. He crashed it in the rain because he didn’t want to put new tires on the rear or something stupid and then had to repair everything, and he talks about the maintenance and said to go after market for brakes and what not. He made it seem not that bad to maintain as long as you prepare for it.

It doesn’t have to be a lambo, pretend its a car similar that people like lol seems like everyone’s hates lambos.

Yeah then maybe they should buy a classic muscle car

Buy a civic and put lambo doors on it. Close enough.

Investing in cars, solid way to build financial stability.

I wish my wife would buy into this investment strategy. “Babe, I’m going to stop putting money into savings and buy a Lamborghini. It’s rare, so that’s basically just money in the bank.”

it all comes down to somebody like @Wahoo can buy the car without it being a bad investment, they just can’t ever drive it.

If someone who makes $100,000 a year thinks it’s a good idea to buy a car and have a $1,500/month car payment on a used exotic car, they don’t have enough self control to save up $20,000.

$1,400 after your car payment and mortgage is paid, isn’t shit. That’s $300/week. That’s having a nice house, a nice car and living your life as if you made minimum wage. Sounds horrible.

^ + a billion to this. Just added up where my wife and I are after mortgage and car payments and fucking lol’d at thinking 1400/month was a good number “left” to live on. Hope you really love that lambo because you’re going to be doing nothing but looking at it while you eat Ramen noodles from the BJ’s bulk pack every night.

100k isn’t shit in SoCal, and many other parts of this country.

(off the tracks… total thread wreck)

LAMBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BRUH

Thread is derailed so I just wanted to share that with everyone.

It’s safe to say with this guy’s line of thinking, we don’t have to worry about him ever landing a job that comes close to $100,000/year.

im not driving around in a lambo but im living pretty comfortable here on 100k

100K ISN’T SHIT!

Don’t get me wrong, I am too. Paying down student loan debt in an expedited fashion and all that certainly makes it feel pretty uhh… ‘normal’ I guess. I won’t be Lambo shopping anytime soon.

Lol here’s the guy who crashed his lambo

i make 38k a yr do people read? I won’t be buying a lambo probably ever. It’s funny I’ve never had so many quote alerts ever before.

After my bills are paid I probably have $1,300 left each month and I only put 3% of my pay into my 401k, man I guess I’m never gonna make it and should just kill myself now

It’s got nothing to do with making but actually being able to retire lol

I shit 100k every morning. Suckas

I need a new job lol
