+2 If you’ve already owned an STI why not get something else, but if you’re heart’s set on one I vote red. Reason is because I hate the way the STI sedans look.
That’s what I’m getting at with the “are you keeping the truck” question. Why buy some fat AWD sedan as your toy if you have a dedicated daily driver already.
Red.
bc history, well maintained and no surprises.
Will not argue against the STI in general…That is your decision…plus we know you wont have it long anyway, so why not let the focus be reliability while you own it…That being said, buying these things second hand is soooo shady and you always want to buy one with the absolute MOST information possible, I cant tell you how many heartbreaking “POST” purchase inspections we have done on second hand turbo Subaru’s. Also PLEASE budget in for a tune of some sort, the other common misconception with these cars is that if the owner has kept it bone stock forever that it will be absolutely flawless…its just not necessarily true, as the stock mapping can only be described as DANGEROUS.
I got just the car for you. Keep the truck and buy a sebring for a “summer toy”

You can fit a dog cage and still have room for 2 girls, must have top down screaming money aint’ a thing though. Besides its attractively priced at only $3300.00
I already sent Mike an email regarding a Cobb AP.

Probably not keeping the Tundra. This would be my DD.
No brainer, red.
Solid DD then… go with the red one.
Because I MISS the STi, horribly.
These cars are a blast to drive. I love my WRX. The truck didn’t last long.
Miles are too low. Need 300k plus.
White… just because its white.
Doesn’t even state the miles, lol.
You should buy the red one.
I would buy a used BMW M5 and BMW X5 and spend the last $10k on fixing them both.
Work harder, buy a b8 S4 haha.
But if its between those 2 Id get red because maintenance records.
Go for the red one man, you’ll have a great piece of mind especially with making a decent priced purchase such as this. The cars are almost the same minus color and 6k more miles and a wing. But with the red its closer, blatantly obvious that it was babied, and has winter wheels and tires. It seems like a no brainer to me.
God I hate resale red…but, ^^What he said. Benafits being; records, and an extra set of winter wheels and tires.
there was a time when I thought of a pre modded “enthusiast” owned car as a positive, especially because they were cheaper than a stock car and you get extras
now im exactly the opposite, even if the white one was a few gs cheaper I would much rather pay more for one that was stock and well taken care of w/ records
plus you can drive to syracuse and come back if the car sucks, half a day no big deal. 6 hours each way is pushing it though
I have nothing to add other then I absolutely love the looks of these STI sedans. The white one-honestly, the only thing that bothers me is the aftermarket navigation thing. I highly doubt that it had a 35r on it. But, the red on is closer and it’s not like 17K miles is a lot compared to 10k. In order for me to say no to a car due to a color, it would basically have to be painted with rainbows and gay pride logos.
HOLY FUCK!! Krant likes something!!!
