I give you props for going out there and getting a job that you like doing, especially in Buffalo. That alone is a goal of mine that I have yet to achieve.
Seriously? people ask how many RVs he’s sold to people on here as if it’s relevant?
Guys here take out a 20k loan on a piece of shit car, then take out more loans to mod their piece of shit car. When in reality they can barely even afford the car to begin with.
I doubt many people on here jump at the chance to buy in to something where an entry level vehicle is $50k+
Maybe a few on here might, but the majority won’t even consider it.
Anyway, I think it’s gotta be pretty cool to sell RVs. The only downside I can see is dealing with old folks all day long. I’m also disappointed he was unable to sell my grandparents RV! (kidding)
I used to love looking at RVs… They’ve only had it 2-3 years IIRC and still have all the plastic on everything…
My dad just bought a Toy Hauler a few weeks back. He was actually going to get one from Buffalo RV but then found a good deal on one from a private sale.
I hope they don’t cap your commission. The commission on a $200k RV must be pretty dandy.
It is actually really cool to sell RV’s. Dealing with people who actually have money and can offer advice to me is probably the best part about my job. There is no cap on my commission, but it is really hard to make a ton of money on them. The banks limit us to what we can do, it’s actually good for people and it helps them to not be so upside down when they come back to trade in to me.
Sorry I couldn’t sell your grandparents RV, did they ever unload it?
BTW I would like to say thank you for probably the most respectable response on here so far. You guys some ball busters sometimes…
