Congratulations Joe, great news man. Ironically, I stopped coming on here about the same time in my life when I realized what was really important. Probably have visited a handfull of times since being engaged and now married. It’s not a suprise that it only took one thread for me to realize why I don’t visit anymore. Same lame people with the same childish shit. Seems to me that for the most part, the ones that grew up aren’t here much anyway…

I haven’t been on here in months, but after you just told me this…i felt compelled.
I know i was quite disapproving on the phone, because i personally see marriage as nothing more than a legal agreement and an expensive ceremony that just states what the two parties involved should already feel and be comfortable feeling without said legal agreement…leaving no other conclusion than the fact that one is so insecure that he/she needs the other to legally sign away half their shit if anything ever goes wrong.
But all that aside…i’ve come to terms with it since we hung up the phone…and just leave you with one simple request, from one friend to another…please, PLEASE, please…do NOT pro-create.

This is a great community, but the fact remains that all of the good friends I’ve made through the years on UBRF and NYSpeed, have all moved on in many ways and are rarely on here anymore. I still see and talk to a lot of them, but yeah, it’s a diff. scene now. Either way, I’m thrilled.
