Motorex is the comapny that fucked anyone who wanted a Skyline…
Motorex was selling R32/33/34’s… at the time was the only company to do so as they were the only company that knew all of the regulations required to make a skyline legal to drive in the US.
Motorex only crash tested R33’s and then used those crash test reports for the R32/34 as well, this is a big no no.
Anyways after awhile the Feds got wind of this and shut motorex down banning R32’s and R34’s in the US pretty much perminintly … Only R33’s years 96-98? IIRC were to be allowed to be brought in and legalized as they were the only Skylines that were legit and crash tested…
Most of the R32’s and R34’s that were sold in the time motorex was fucking everyone were grandfathered in and were allowed to keep their US title and VIN.

This car would be tough to part with but like someone else mentioned, the maintenance upkeep, finding parts, are probably a bitch and the fact that it draws more attention than a nudie magazine in the hands of a bunch of 13 year olds. But what a car to have! If you are a hardcore Japanese car fan than this would probably be an excellent addition to your collection.
The only way you can top this in my eyes is with a Gallardo or Murcielago.
