we should seriously just make a “what bad beat have u gotten right now?” thread, so that we can post some of the ridiculous plays that people make. and i understand sucking out and getting lucky, but when someone just makes a bonehead play and hits, it’s pretty unreal.

i have some sickening beat stories, my favorites are when you flop trips and lose to runner runner straights, flushes, and higher boats… in most of those cases, the other guy’s chances are slim to none on the turn and river, yet they stick around and get rewarded.

and whatever did happen to that tourney idea?

I went a run for a while where everytime I would flop trips, the other guy would have top pair w/ flush draw, they would push, I call…they hit…

It just sucks when you know you’re ahead and the only play you can make is to call an all in
