on my new computer it blocks EVERY TYPE OF MOUSIC DOWNLOADING NETWORK… it won t let it connect into some port or something… causing the network to NOT connect…
any idea’s on what i should shut off… and h0w to shut it off?
go into control panel(make sure its on classic view if you are using XP)
double click Network Connections
double click Local Area Connection
click the properties button
click on the advanced tab
see if the firewall is turned on, if so. turn it off
also check that they didn’t install some weird firewall on your pc

whitey’s right… it’s just xp sp2’s firewall.
adversely i’d recommend that you just set the domain name in the trust / allow section of the firewall… turning it totally off will require that you install a 3rd party firewall these days.
in IE- tools / interweb options / securtiy / trust / click on sites button, add the domain. uncheck the box for requiring https: … probably isn’t the case for you.
