Now that I have your attention with that creepy title, here’s my problem. I have a NAV out of a 08 Chrysler 300 and it leaves a gap above and below. Anybody know a good place that can fiberglass it or something??
Look for an install kit for a head unit with those dimensions? Or go to an audio place and see if they do custom stuff(Boomer, audio obsessions). My.02
mine does the same shit… I used like… black sponge type shit. Looked like factory when done.
Big_Red is the glass man.
JSEnclosures could probably help too.
Butthole talk ITT
Damn, thought I was unloading my storage unit today.
Nolan if you want me to fab something up I can. How hard is that piece to take out?
It takes less than a minute to get out lol. When would be a could time to have you look at it?
Either tomorrow or Erlier next week
Fuckkkkkkkk no gay talk yet ? Such a letdown
they should have an install kit for a double din.
:rofl i know!
I want it to look oem. And its a dodge nav, i dont think its the same shape as an aftermarket double din nav
i can do it, pm me if interested
Crystler makes an oem piece for this, they arn’t that cheap either. You need the double din/nav trim piece and you can only get that from crystler. My buddy had the oem dash and it fit his alpine iva-w505 perfect. So either i can fiberglass it or you can buy his (he sold his 300). Only thing is, his is painted cool vanilla, so if you have a different color you may want to repaint.
my buddy says he’ll sell you his oem trim for $100-, he said he paid 150- for it
I got something to fill your space Jon
LOL
i feel bad for your buddy
They’re not cheap
129 on ebay and up
Unfortunetly, 300 and magnum trim aren’t interchangeable. Also, my bezel is the OEM nav one. However, i removed the old nav and replaced it with the newer one out of the 08 and up models. Its the same width but different height. Its not like a regular aftermarket size…
PM how much you’d charge to fiberglass it
