I ordered an 575hp SLP Supercharged Camaro SS **coming soon**...

looks like fun Dave! i’m sure some old dude with $$$ to burn and a camaro boner will pick this up in no time

Very cool. The price is freaking steep buT it comes with a warranty.

As for Shelbys, the 2010 can be had for sticker if you shop around. I’d say anywhere from $47 to 55k depending on options. The 2011 is rumored to have an aluminum block and be pushing 556 horse.

My thoughts exactly.

wow, thats some coin, the old SLP options for firehawk or SS would max out around $10k, but they are adding a supercharger this time.

:word: buy a regular one and spend 10k and it’ll be faster for 20k+ less or just buy a ZO6, I say ZO6

sounds like a great car regardless

You guys that are bashing the price are wayyy off. A base package SS is 31500, not 25000 and the package I ordered didn’t need to be so much but I added the brakes, suspension, stripes to a 2SS instead of a 1SS etc. I could have ordered one without that stuff for less but it wouldn’t be as desirable. Also, this car is going to be extremely rare, factory authorized and will have a warranty for 3 years.

Derek I have a feeling we won’t be selling one of these for less than MSRP, if not over that but if we don’t you and I will have to decide which one of us will be buying it. I’ll keep you updated…

what do you drive again?

Not a 66k F-body

I love how everyone here agreed and you only reply to me

And the base car V6 is priced near 25k…

I never said I didn’t like that car its just really expensive for a F-body.

Looks Good.

Regardless of 25k vs 33k… 10-15k worth of parts will get you moving… :bush:

But OP is right, I guess this will be worth some coin someday… hopefully

you will have the baddest car on the roads around here hands down…if i had money id have one of these

Is every single one of you bashing the price retarded? It is a rare edition of a muscle car.

Do you bash the viper because you can built a civic that is faster cheaper? No STFU.

The only thing you could compare this to is a SHELBY GT-500 or maybe a Hennessy Challenger.

Lets see, what is worth more, a '69 Yenko Camaro or a '69 Camaro joe smoe built into a drag car. I think we all know the answer.

If I wasn’t buying a home this weekend I’d definitely consider something like this. I was really hoping the grand sport corvette would be something special, but it doesn’ look like it will be.

Back to dreaming about used exotics lol.

quite pricey, but I def dig it! if I was an old guy with money to burn I’d rather have this than be just another old guy with a vette… to each his own I guess.

:word: true :awdrifter:

Hey! I take offense to that. J/k

I think it’s a good deal for the price in a collectors viewpoint.

I’m going to have to see how much my brother-in-laws 2002 SLP SS is worth that he wants to sell now. I think it only has 18k on the clock.
Edit - Not that much

just because it is labeled a camaro does not mean it is the same thing as some trailer trash 1979 rusted to shit camaro. it may be expensive, but to just blindly say, “it’s just a camaro” seems kind of ignorant.

i’m no f-bod humper, nor am i saying it’s worth the asking price, but this seems like a decent car, and hardly worth all the bashing it’s getting.

Very sharp!! It will be fast as sh!t and handel like its on rails,oh and stop on a dime too

Can you post pics of actual car when it arrives? I would like to see it…

At 66K thats less than $115/hp. I think that is a good deal…

(FYI…an F430 is +$380/hp at only 490HP…Ferrari quality aside I think that is badass to look at)

I bet it will look really nice in white with black stripes. Good color choice.

Any time a manufacturer has to warranty something with 575 hp the price is going to get jacked. It makes sense to me. This is one of the big reasons why so many people buy a car and mod it rather than blowing their whole wad on a car and leaving it alone.

This is why the economy is where it is.
