i want a little puppy thread.

you should get a boston terrier. the are small but tough dogs with good personalities. you don’t have to worry about hurting them if you play with them rough too. they aren’t all fragile like most small dogs. they can also be super chill and chicks dig them. if i didn’t already have 2 boxers i’d have one.

you should come meet maddie Sailor. She has the best personality of any dog I ever met. she also has a really loud high pitched bark so that will suit your annoying requirement.

 That looks like some sort of emo Myspace photo.

our beagles from don are only 20lbs

I had a min pin and it was annoying as hell. my friend has one, and again, annoying as hell. I like the boston terriers and jack russells are cute as shit but so high strung. those long haired puffy dogs are for pussy’s and again annoying as hell. i had a miniature dauschand and it was cute and non-annoying. Problem with little dogs is their brains are just as small and hard to learn stuff if you cant be with them all the time.

I’d have to say the beagles are the most mannered of small dogs I’ve encountered. My parents have a lapso-poo (mini poodle) and he is like the spawn of satan, most of the time…until we brought over Chad’s beagle, he ran in the corner to cry. Small dogs suck and are pussies.

starting to like the idea of a boston terrier

I would check with Paris. Maybe you can get her dust mop since shes back in jail…

you ass LOL I told you about the min. pin forever ago…Amber got here’s for $300…he’s awesome

nope shih tzu’s do not shed at all

I never had problems with Maggies moms Chihuahua’s, the males were fairly protective of the female dogs, but nothing a foot couldnt take care of. Their bark wasnt too anouying, except for when all 7 went at it(her mom used to breed and ended up keeping too many). The oldest female loves to ride in the car.

I donno, everyone has their own personal opinions about what is better then what. Plain and simple, any puppy is going to eat alot and go apeshit the first year.

labrodor mixed with rottweiler

Go with the Pug man, through and through.

I got two of them. Bailey is a 9 year old girl, and she’s nearing the end of her ropes. She is pretty laid back, doesn’t have very good control of her back legs, but is still very loving/loveable. She sleeps/lays around about 20 hrs a day.

Duffy - black male who is 1.5 yrs old. He just a ball of fire. He will run and play like no other, but when it’s time to relax he’s right there sitting in your lap. He is a very very loving dog.

My dogs aside - I’ve never met a pug I didn’t like. They are just easy going, jolly dogs overall.

Definitely think about how active of a dog you want. Of the ones mentioned in this thread the pug is most likely the most sit around and chill dog. I have a pug and it seems to be most happy just chillin. Very friendly, but not so smart. My brother has a jack russell, can be very active but also seems more chill than most jack russells I have ever been around, very very smart dog. Also, some dogs take better to hot weather. Just something to consider.

I don’t know about pugs being chill, when we we’re looking for our second dog, before we bought the Boston. We checked out a pug and it was down right crazy, after that encounter we picked out our Boston and it’s the laziest dog I’ve ever seen, yeah she will play but most of the time she is sleeping, so it might depend on the dog, not just the breed…

I know it’s too big, but a Staffordshire Bull Terrier (NOT American Staffordshire Terrier) would be awesome…imagine a 25 to 30lb Pitbull. They’re very muscled, athletic dogs, but don’t really top 30lbs.

I mean come on, how cool is this:

That’s just fuckin’ awesome.
