Most peewee hockey players have as much skill as Peters.
I’d still rather have Peters than Avery, and I really don’t want Peters either.

Peters is a good guy, and even though his “skills” or however you define his ability to play; still plays a role on the team. In and out of the locker room, I find him more of a team player than Avery.
Avery could be a possibility on the Sabres, but everyone hates him. And he needs to worry about his teamplay before bringing his dramatic highschool musical lifestyle into this sport.

That contract is outrageous for what kind of guy he is and I can see how for that reason they would want to get rid of him, but why the hell was he signed for that much in the first place???
peters is a role player and all but avery has 3 goals and what, 7 assists? (can’t find his stats since he’s already off dallas’ roster)
avery would never come to buffalo, we’re a small town with no fashion industry.
that being said I think it’s bs that he’s caught such a backlash. Was it stupid and classless? yes. But the consequences do not fit the infraction.
