What motor / car.
Did you try and clean the little guy?
96 dx non vtec auto
swapped in d16y8 vtec w/ P2P auto ecu
hard wired vtec solinoid and switch
also getting a couple of more codes but thats seprate
i dont know if that can cause car to run on limp mode, but unless unit is deffective you should be able to remove and clean with som carb or intake cleaner should be as good as new.i justed spray away till clean liquid came out both of coolan ports and screen was silver again.
You are using the incorrect IAC. You need to use the three wire one that came with the auto. The fact that you are still running the auto trans and the auto trans ECU means you need the three wire. My guy gary has D16y8 manifold assembly here you could probably trade him for so that you can retian the maifold from the d16y8 and use the correct IAC.
