my club has a shop …in the shop we have 4 grinders a mig welder, and arc welder, tig welder, oxy torches,plasma cutter, sandblaster any hand and pneumatic tools pretty much anything you can think of we have therefor it’s not really a big deal anymore. its a 1500 dollar coupe, i paid 1400 for mine and the driver side frame was rotted, behind the glovebx/passanger fire wall there was rust that expansion foam was covering, under driver foot where exhaust went was starting, also there were 5 other places that had been cut out and re welded. the ka burned oil, it didnt have a passanger side mirror, ebrake cable was broken, grind in third gear, and the HUD didnt work. and the only upgrade it had was lowering suspension. (not coils.) so 1500 is an amazing deal and if your going to bitch about a coupe having underbody rust, good luck. especially for 1500. hard enough finding a clean coupe for under 3k with no rust.
so end it and let him sell his car. (but if you do part i still need ebrake cable

i didnt get ripped off at all, i knew the history of the car, this is my 5 240sx, i knew i was going to build it, the car had more sedamential value. we have all come across the 1000 dollar rust free 240 that some dumb bitch is selling because she took her husband for everything and is now selling his car. it just means you got an amazing deal and your prob just going to flip it for three times the price cough half of son including myself cough. but anybody that knows the value of a 240sx or know’s what they have wont let a rust free 240sx go for 250-1000 bucks.
put it this way, i bought a 95 s14 that was cleaner then most i have seen on son for a 1000 bucks last year. sold it end of summer for 3800 and all i did was 5 speed swap/5lug/blue to black interior.
i bought it off of someone that knew nothing about the car, and sold it for 4 times the price because i no how hard it is to find a mint s14. 1400 is peanuts for a running 240sx these days.
