i swaped in a 95 ka24de in my 89 hatch and when i start the car it seems to idle at 2000-3000 rpm. i turned down the throttle on the throttle cable but i still have the same problem.what is wrong. please help
You can also adjust it at the ECU and on the intake manifold there is an idle adjust screw down between two of the runners. Try adjusting those as well
Its the Throttle Sensor, Needs adjusting or replacing.

The TPS Throttle Position Sensor could be faulty, but i found that when i adjusted it, the problem came back. I just went to the dealership and bought a new one. Have you also looked for any vacuum leaks?
yeah ^^^ might be right. But first thing is adjust idle adjustment screw.
If that doesn’t work, adjust the TPS by lossing the two screws and check resistance while adjusting it on idle. I have forgotten off the top of my head which pins and what resistance it should be.
Check your owners manual. if you don’t have one, say so and I’ll check for you. In a hurry.
