I hate the reliability argument, I have grenaded a ton of import transmissions but never a domestic one. Imports never seem to hold up to the kind of hairy heaters I put cars through. But this country sucks anyways, fuck supporting jobs. When people have jobs, it is sooo much harder to convince them to riot.
I love all the people driving shitty ass fucking civics they paid $3k for, when any American car that sucked as bad would’ve sold for $400, are arguing about how much domestics suck. Just as bad as all the hicks with rotted out pickups arguing about how much imports suck. Both groups of these people suck, they are poor and stupid. If China could make a great car for $900 brand new, why the fuck wouldn’t I buy it. It’s a better allocation of resources. I am educated, I will never work in a car plant. Since my dad has had his '97 blazer, which I think he bought almost brand new, he’s had to replace more things and put more money into that thing than I ever have with any of my cars combined.
Except, looking back now, one import that I did own that was a pos, was my subaru. Sure it looked “cool,” but it fucking sucked.
