The argument is invalid in the 21st century. All cars are mix and match nowadays, and most of the plastic parts in U.S. cars were imported from China because they are cheaper to produce. 95% of the fabrics are produced outside of the U.S. for vehicles and clothes. I could probably go on and on about it if I searched hard enough…
It’s an import country now. There is no patriotic meaning behind our vehicles anymore.

The factory in Spartanburg wasn’t producing e36’s as it wasn’t finished yet. They were pretty much all produced in Regensburg Germany.
I buy the vehicle that fits my needs that I can afford.
What I find funny is the whole, “if you’re American buy American” stuff.
